In English so that the owners can read it too: the place is simply marvellous. The scenery next to the Dordogne river is awsome. The former abby is so authentic, so romantic, so quiet. We find it difficult to describe its beauty. And the owners took us on a lovely wine trip (they produce the Bordeaux themselves) and cooked for us a delightful three course meal, with home made pie, risotto, and strawberries from their own garden. All ecological. The owners both diserve a big compliment for their. wszystkie opinie »
Staying with another couple, we had two big, spacious rooms with another (living) room in between. This room has also served as the place for private breakfasts, and one-evening dinner served by our hosts. Very attentive and friendly stuff. Great country-side location, close enough to Bordeaux (15 min drive) and to many wineries in the great Bordeaux area.
The plumbing in the rooms were superb, modern and high-end. The beds were also very comfortable.
This is probably the best b&b I have stayed in. Frederick and Fabienne were wonderful hosts. The rooms were luxurious and clean. The setting over looking the dordogne river is amazing and the homemade meals were delicious (well priced at €14). Would love to go back for a weekend....if only it was nearer to England!!....fantastique!!!.
Very pleasant location and sourounings, convenient for self-driving visitors. The room is decorated with some classical chinese furniture and the bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff are warm and helpful. We appreciated the wine tasting which shared the owner's passion of wine making. Good to stay for a few days, very relaxing.
Lovely setting on river. Immaculate room and modern bathroom. We travelled with an other couple and had a fabulous breakfast in the common room.Very accomodating in our" last minute" supper request. 35 euro's each, additional cost for wine ...excellent meal. Superb location, rooms, food and wine. Our rating 9.5/10.
The owners are fantastic. The wine and the vineyards are superb. It is so tranquil, quiet, and relaxing yet close to the chateaux of St Emilion, Pomerol, and Medoc. Fantastic place and wonderful people. The food is also awesome.
The evening meal was excellent, the breakfast superb, the chateau was full of character and the staff very friendly.
I particularly enjoyed the relaxed, informative wine tasting session and the stay was great value for money..
Lovely little b&b, quite unique and different, with a very lovely family who run this.
If you want peace and quiet, and value for money, this is the place.
The rooms have been excellently renovated.
Very peaceful. Room was huge and really nice - a lot of character. We were able to walk through the vineyard and explore the fishing from the banks of the river. Great wine as well.

The accomodation was excellent and wetroom was to die for.
Peace and quiet. Wine tasting. Friendly owners. Superb.
Host, room, location, nice meal nice breakfast.
It's a little difficult to find. On the other hand: please don't put a sign up! Too many people could ruin the authenticity of the place.
Have no complains.
Did not have the wine tasting.
The mosquitos due to nearby river and without a vehicle very difficult to access.
Nothing really, didn't have a TV, but do you really need one ?.
Nothing.
Mosquitos on walks near river.
- Everything was perfect.
Maybe just add more cosy places/salon/hamac outside (but not a must to have.).
Information on the Chateau indicated the opportunity for wine tasting, this was not offered. The host/staff were somewhat impersonal, we go to locations such as this for the personal touch and are rarely disappointed, this did not match the standards that we have come to expect.
Nothing!.
