  The hotel was not open until 16:00 but that is as described in the information supplied. I just forgot! Laon is a lovely place and it was a chance to stroll around and have a beer in the many bars and soak up a few rays. T - This is a gem of a hotel. The proprietor, Matthieu ensures a very warm welcome and clearly has great pride in his hotel. The 18th Century building has been lovingly restored to retain all of its original features and provide an ambience that feels like time dilates as you step inside. Clean, well priced and charming, one of the most enchanting hotels I've ever stayed in
