  A lovely little hotel on a quiet and safe street just minutes away from the metro and great Parisian cafes and bars that aren't overflowing with tourists.   Got a taxi from Gare du Nord for just under Euro 20. Hotel has two steps up to reception and an elevator. We chose this hotel as it was close to Montpanasse RER which we needed the following morning. Other hotels are closer but this hotel was better value for money. The neighborhood is very diverse and has a very "authentic" vibe because there aren't too many tourists that venture out there.
