It is advertised as a 2 star Hotel, and that is precisely correct. This is a very good tourist class hotel. It is ideally situated for seeing Bordeaux, and represents excellent value for money. I.Good location:
1) the hotel is very close to the rail station St.Jean, so you don`t have to carry a heavy suitcase and take any taxi (2 minutes on foot and you`re in the hotel)
2) Close to the city centre (7-10 minutes by tram or 30-40 minutes walk along a very nice river La Garonne)
3) Close to the supermarket Carrefour and different cafes

The parking outside was just as they had said although turning up as the nursery opposite was emptying out wasn't clever. The staff was very professional and friendly. They tried to help in every way possible...They even printed my boarding pass for the airport. The internet worked well except at very peak hours. Kitchen was a great addition. Even thought the reception was closed they had a way fr you to check in after hours.. I loved having a nice hot bath!
