  The location. the location and the location. It is located across the street from the Paris Nord train station (which connect to trains to othe countries and to Paris metro). Jan helped us confirm our reservations with a tour package and then emailed me confirmation, such a relief to have it handled so capably! The hotel is very close to both train stations which - A modern clean hotel very close to the station with interesting sights and walk nearby especially the canal. Montparnasse is a 20 minutee stroll away. The tour bus stops almost outside and of course the metro is across the road. We had room 604 which us at the rear with a balcony and we would recommend this room notwithstanding the fact that is one of the more expensive rooms

  We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Lafayette very much. Location is excellent - just a mere moment from Gare du Nord in a quiet side street. I imagine it may be a bit far from the centre to some people but the metro is just 2 min away and it will take you to Louvre in 10 mins. Breakfast is really really good, fresh juices, selection pastries, ham, cheese... co mówią ludzie » , fruit, good coffee. This is the only hotel I found that had breakfast included and it was of such a great quality too. The room is basic but has eve - The room was compact and comfortable with a nice view of the Pierre Semard street, quiet and so typically Parisian. Breakfast was awesome, everything fresh and abundant. The staff very helpful. We really had a great stay at this hotel which I recommend to other travellers. Location, 5 minutes walking from Poissoniere metro station and 10 minutes leisurely walking to the Opera Garnier and Galeries Lafayette. Great!
