  I particularly liked two members of the staff - one worked on reception and was called Nicolas and the other was the chambermaid. Nicolas had a particularly warm and welcoming demeanor as well as being very helpful. Rooms had been updated The hotel is being updated and work is happening on a daily basis - Sign at reception apologies in advance for any noise - Construction work is done between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm - Did not effect our stay.   A small boutique hotel which I love. Front desk staff was always helpful and had great suggestions for food and things to do. The room was very clean and modern. We had a room with a small terrace and a view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is close to 2 Metro stations so it's very easy to get around Paris. - I loved the entire design of the hotel so v elegant. It had central heating with towel heating. We had booked a deluxe room with view and upon arrival were upgraded to the Eiffel suite on the top floor, the best room in the hotel.   We stayed in the hotel Valadon, it was very narrow but funcionate. The reception was in an other hotel just across the street but we did not mind. When we arrived in the evning, the portier a young man was very helpfull and serviceminded. The room we stayed in had window towards a back yard and was clean and quiet. Our three kids could sleep upstairs and we had the privacy of downstairs. Everyone had plenty of room. Toiletries were abundant.
