Friendly and efficient service both at reception and in the restaurant. The hotel has character and individual features not bland impersonality that so many chain hotels offer. Domfront itself has a very attractive old centre and interesting historical links.

Belle Vallee is exactly how a Chambre d"hote should be. Lovely location, welcoming, clean, comfortable and above all expectations.
Beautifully presented and Victoria made us very welcome in their charming lounge with a tray of tea and lemon cake. Our room the Juniper, was lovely with views over the garden and every aspect had been well thought out, good quality furniture, fittings and bedding. More a B&B in a private house than a hotel, the proprietors were welcoming and most accommodating. The room was tastefully decorated and uncluttered. The shared bathroom was finished to a high standard. The dinning room was beautifully presented and the breakfast was lovely. We very quickly took the decision to stay on for another night. -
