We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. It is very convenient for travellers who like to focus on old historic city as it is only some minutes away but make sure you need to be fit to climb

Space. It was pretty big the apartment for my famility to stay (couple + 1yr old baby + 3 yrs. old child).
The location was perfect. Very close to the castle.
The access is very good to go walking. Not recomended to go to the castle with the baby trolley but this has nothing to do with the hotel/appartment.
Very very good price/quality ratio.

Charming B&B just 1 km outside Carcassonne and perfect for visiting La Cite. Isolated position but all the facilities needed. Plenty of places to eat in old Carcassonne itself and not too far to walk to La Cite if you're feeling energetic. Excellent breakfast. Overall very good value. Would use again if in the area. -

Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! Very easy walk to old cite and easy drive from motorway for daytrips around area. Cathy is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeously set up. Beds comfortable, huge shower

Accommodations were easy to find (drove up and parked just outside the castle walls). Room was spacious and well appointed. Great view!

The hotel has a large internal parking available and is within walking
distance from the medieval city. The staff is friendly and helpful:
there was a problem with the room they assigned us - twin beds instead
of a double one - and they were very accomodating, and quick in finding
a solution. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very clean
and spacious, with a large balcony and a stunning view of the fortified
