The hosts at La Belle Haute are soooo welcoming and attentive to your needs. The hotel is more like a B&B but with very high standards. The room was stunning both in decor, comfort and size - more like a suite. The breakfast, typically French continental, but with the added extras such as home cooked French toast at a time that suited you. Centrally located in the old walled Town, close access to local restaurants. We will definitely recommend to friends and we will return next time we come. wszystkie opinie »
We have stayed in many places over the years in and around Boulogne, and La Belle Haute was by far the best. A large, warm, comfortable room, ditto bed, shower. Faultless wifi, great breakfast - fresh o.j., local free-range eggs, good bread and croissants (not thawed/microwaved), cheese, cake (home-made), French toast etc. - such care and thoughtfulness shown by our hostess. Set in the old town with restaurants close by - l'ilot vert was excellent. Easy parking in December.
The room was beautiful. Our reception on arrival was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very varied and very nice - all fresh fare. I cannot fault the stay at this bed and breakfast. Would stay again when travelling to and from UK (and probably will). Great position in old town close to historical buildings and restaurants.
Loved everything. Did not expect the size of the bedroom, another room with twin beds and an enormous and beautiful bathroom. Did not have time for a bath but candles adorn and would have been lovely. Family lovely too. Could not fault. Will return. Agree difficult to locate but asked the lady in the patisserie opposite.
What a wonderful place to stay. Really comfortable and amazingly spacious, the bathroon was huge! Like others we found it a little hard to find though to be fair there is a poster on the door. Sandrine is a lovely host and made us the most superb breakfast. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back.
The flat was absolutely gorgeous,,clean spacious and stylish...and the bathroom was the cherry on top.Mrs Lefebre was so nice, accommodating and helpful..overall we had an amazing stay in la Belle haute..everything was just perfect ,it exceeded our expectations so thank you again Mrs Lefebre.

Lovely authentic French accommodation with sympathetically modern facilities . Great location in the old town, fab breakfast, room full of lovely touches - sweets, water, tea/coffee better than more expensive hotels. Nice friendly owner. Large rooms, comfy beds.
A lovely host, very friendly particularly as we speak very little French. The room was spotless, very well presented, warm, clean and tidy. The breakfast was great, mainly home made a wide choice, plenty of nice coffee. Very highly recommended!.

A little gem in the middle of bolougne sur mer , only two bedrooms so very quite . The owner was very welcoming . We stayed in the two bedroom suite it was beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and the bathroom is divine .

Amazing large room in the double suite. Great bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, the French Toast alone was worth the stay. Also the most welcoming environment for children I have ever stayed in.

There was nothing not to like.
Very difficult to find the building on arrival in Boulogne (especially as it was dark and raining unfortunately). As mentioned in a previous review signage would have made finding the property easier.
Bit worried about glass doorway to main exit door downstairs being locked..maybe a fire hazard. Otherwise all good.

- Signage outside would be helpful as slightly difficult to find, appeared as a business from the outside.
- Not an issue for us, but in the two bedroom suite you had to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom, should be made clearer when booking (room plan?).
It was a little difficult to find, head literally for number 18 and you’ll find it, don’t be put off by the lack of signage.

park outside the ramparts first find hotel and where to park by foot.
The parking was a bit of a problem.
Difficult to find, does not look like a hotel from the outside, needs a big sign, but well worth the search!!.
We liked everything.
The only problem we had was finding it. We were looking for a hotel sign, But it is a family home. There is an office on the ground floor, guest rooms on the 1st floor, breakfast is served on the 2nd floor and the family rooms are on the 3rd floor. None of this was a problem, once we had found the building.
Late check in was a bit of a pain.
