The hotel has had a complete refit since my last stay 2 years ago and is simply wonderful in every way. The staff could not be more helpful or charming. The restaurant is absolutely superb and, though expensive, is reasonably priced for its high quality. A sommelier is on hand to help with the extensive wine list.

Staff were excellent! In particular the woman in the afternoons who greeted us on arrival. She spoke very good English, was extremely helpful and had a wonderful sense of humour. Most of the rooms have a small balcony with a view of the street and the

We loved the open log fire which welcomed us on arrival, before dinner and even breakfast. The staff were charming and more than helpful both evenings and at breakfast. It was warm, cosy and inviting everywhere. This was our third visit and we weren't disappointed !!! -
