  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

Of course it was expensive but it was definately worth the price. We used all the facilities, especially the fitness center. They raise the level from Ritz Carlton and Shangri La on the basis of atmosphere and room design alone.

Plus they just opened a top deck for eating with a view over Prague. A little refrig was perfect; Trams close by.

  Do Pragi wybraliśmy się na weekend i Park Inn Hotel Prague okazał się trafnym wyborem. Byliśmy samochodem- który za dodatkową opłatą mogliśmy zaparkować bezpiecznie przy samym hotelu- jest też możliwość wykupienia garażu.Pokój hotelowy był przestronny, czysty, dobrze wyposażony.Na śniadaniu każdy znalazł coś dla siebie. We loved all of it and rate it as probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in. It was not only because of the style Art Deco design, but because of the quality of the detail throughout the building.
