  We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. The staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever we asked and we needed help with something (hairdryer etc.) We had got also a map of Cesky Krumlov with r... co mówią ludzie » ecommendations for restaurants, music, galleries etc. Breakfast was ok, with fresh bread, rohliky etc. and homemade products. We will come again for s - Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

  warm environment as in the home, the house holder decorated every room very carefully and makes every corner beautiful! very satisfied !!! - very large 2 rooms, good location in Czesky Krumlov. A true pension -- no luxury but outstanding breakfast for 5euro/person

  The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.... co mówią ludzie » Very good value! - Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was great. All-in-all a very satisfying experience. If we're in the area again it will be our first choice and will definitely recommend it to our friends!!

  We are fifty year old first-timers to Prague, absolutely delighted with the city and Hotel Tyl. Extremely easy to find (we took public transport from the airport); the room was gorgeous, dark and quiet; Staff especially friendly and helpful; breakfasts scrumptious; and the location was ideal. We recommend this hotel for ANYONE, - Hotel is centrally located in the town square near the Info center, restaurants, shopping, etc. Andy the manager changed our room upon request to a very nice, large modern room with a great view.
