  We loved the accommodation. The proprietors were so helpful and friendly. it was relaxing, quiet and family friendly.The village had two restaurants but no shop.This was not a problem as the proprietors offered to take us to the nearest shop (about half a mile away) whenever we wished at no charge! We had a rental car which was helpful, but owners will shuttle you into Old City since parking is very difficult. Villa Doris is very clean, and quiet with simple, very affordable accommodations. A definite recommendation for the best of both worlds.....easy beach, boat access and the cultural life of Dubrovnik.

We had a small room with big balcony with fabulous view to the sea, mountains and sunset. Also there was a pool in the hotel and private beach.

  Everything, it's wonderful, the sea view, the big rooms, the best hotel in town, not by location but by everything else. THE place to stay if you've got a car in dubrovnik. (If you dont it's not so far though) - Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool.

  Our stay at Concordia apartments was excellent! It is very clean, modern, with all the equipment you might need. The owner is very kind and helpful! Our towels were changed every 2 days (which is unusual for apartments) and it was completely cleaned in the middle of our 10 days stay! But still, it is only a ten minute bus drive to it if you want - Kate and her Mama were excellent hosts with great tips on where to eat. Close to bus stops (100 yards) and a 10 minute trip to the old city. Taxi rank just past the bus stops. Supermarket approx 300 yards away.   The guests of Nike Apartments have a common terrace with a nice view of the Lapad Beach. The room and the bathroom are very clean. Every day (or at lest every 2 days) the owner changed the bath towels and the bed sheets. The owner is helpful and very friendly. The apartment is not in the old town but the station “Lapad Post Office” of bus 6 (to Pile Gate) is not very far (about 10 min of walking downhil - We enjoyed our studio. It had everything we need, it was clean, looking very nice, I think it would be great for a family with kids. The host was great, they welcome us even if we arrived at midnight because of some problems we had at the border. The place it's really 200m up the Lapad Beach and you have a nice view.
