This apartment was fantastic, the location was great as it was a nice easy stroll to the port and busses. The manager of the hotel was the best part of the stay, she went above and beyond to help make us comfortable. We decided to stay another night in split on our return from the island cruise and her room was not available, however she went and found another place a few minutes walk up the road for the same comfort level and price. We loved Apartments Merica! Host was lovely, and very helpful. The apartment is in an old building with the veranda looking over a small courtyard for parking and roof tops and chimney pots. The location was fabulous, a 1 minute walk to the old town and Diocletians Palace. The wifi was strong and having a washing machine was a real treat too after trekking half of Croatia!
The parking is tight as mentioned on previous reviews but when you know how its easy, just mount the pavement opposite.
Friendly and corteous manner of staff. A welcome email immediately after booking offering directions and even sending a map how to get there. Very helpful information given to us about transport from the airport. As we did not know our way, we called the lady and she came to meet us at the bus station that was ever so kind of her. The flat is modern and espacious . It has been tastefully decorated . Beds are very comfortable. The Kitchen is fully equipped. My friends and I would deffinatel.
For an authentic Croatian city experience, Choose Apartments Merica. Lovely, clean modern apartment with useful kitchen and modern bathroom with a washing machine. The stone house is among other residences on a narrow, winding street. There is private parking in the courtyard off the street. Rihanna was very helpful with showing us the sites on a map.Wonderful location--in 5 minutes walking you are at the waterfront in front of Diocletian's Palace. I recommend Apts Merica.
The apartment is in a geat location near to the railway station and port (about 8 mins walk or less) as well as the bustling vibrant activities (again about 5 mins walk).We only had one night there before flighing back to the UK. Excellent value for money and really quite spacious with everything you need for a short break. Would definately stay again if we return to Split (which we hope to soon).
It was walking distance to the bus station or ferry boat as well as to the Old City. The room was small but comfortable. We could wash our clothes and hang them from the lines set up on our balcony. Our room faced a courtyard off a side street so it was a quiet but convenient location.
150 m from the Old Town is the main thing you need to know! Split's Old Town is where everything's happening, and you're less than ten minutes away from all the ferries and boats for excursions and the islands. The place is nice too with a very friendly host.
The apartment is well furnished, with kicthen, washing machine, and balcony.we had our breakfast outside the house，which was nice. The palace , seaport and bus station just behind the house. However it is quiet during the night. I highly recommend.
Friendly staff, basic, but clean and comfortable for the price. Great location less than 10 mins walk from the old town and bus/ferry station. Particularly good if you're overnighting in Split before catching a ferry the following day, as we were.
We only stayed one night as we were travelling to Korcula the next morning, but our stay was very pleasant, friendly lady met us and showed us to the apartment. Very Clean apartment and facilities ok. Close to the centre of Split and bus station.
Situated in a very convenient place - next to the center of the old town(3' walk).The appartment was very spacious,clean and comfortable. We safely parked our car in the backyard of the building. The owners were very polite .

Tijanna was lovley. the room small but perfectly adequate, very clean and comfy. The small balcony area was nice and the location is great. Easy for the Diocletian's palace and buses and ferries.

tihana waited for us even though we arrived very late, helped us find a parking space and was very helpful and nice in general. the apartment is very central, clean and has a terrace.
Tihana could not have been more helpful. Good wifi. bed fine. Extra towels and a bathmat supplied at my request. Having a fridge was good. Very handy to the train, bus and ferries.

The air conditioner blasted straight on to the head of the bed. Had to turn it off and open the window which had security problems.
Couldn't get hold of anyone to say the bathroom light had gone out.
Was a bit nervous that the front door of the facility was left open all
night even though we had our own front door. Stayed 4 nights and had no
change of towels in that time and nobody emptied the bin. Needs
tea/coffee facilities..
Everything about Apartments Merica was good. Too bad that Diocletians Palace is such a tacky tourist trap.
The room is cozy but not very clean, especially the carpet and the blanket quilt. I was bit by the fleas. The room is cold and there is no heater, it felt like in winter in the stone house even it was already mid April.

Entrance to parking area quite small. Not suitable for larger cars unless you are a super skilled driver.
Pillows were ginormous and didn't really get any sleep because of it.
