Just outside Pula at Pjescana Uvala. Large older style apartment above the family's house, real wood not plastic. Very large terrace with full views over beach, harbour & islands. Very good clean safe beach & restaurants. Short bus ride from Pula which is also nice with island boat trips & a roman arena, etc. Owner met me from airport & showed me round Pula. On arrival fed by Mama's home made pancakes soaked in local liqueur ! The whole area is clean, good food & wine &

The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. Extremely friendly, helpful and very professional English speaking staff. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

This is a lovely friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast. It is
spotlessly clean and provides free,speedy internet. We were really sorry
to have to leave the hotel. Porec is a beautiful historic town and
enthralled us with excellent restaurants and shops. Public transport
could be a bit better for reaching the enchanting hill towns of Motovun
and Grozjnan which are well worth visiting. Also, the tourist office
wasn't of much help in directing us to the Parenzana rail-trail that

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Dama. The room was clean, spacious,
quiet and well equipped. I was in the studio apartment with has a large
terrace and glimpses of the Adriatic Sea. The welcome by Maja and Davor
was perfect, and they went out of their way to help such as providing a
bike to cycle around a beautiful peninsula. The accommodation is
connected to Pula by bus (around 10 per day on weekdays and 4-5 per day
on weekends) and a taxi costs around 50 kuna (if booked by the hosts).

You can free park right in front of the house (otherwise it is 8 euro/day). Breakfast was okay, very friendly son. The place is perfect to go to Pula, Rovinj, Porec, .... Medulin has a few restaurants where you can eat cheap. We didn't take a lunch or dinner at the hotel. We had an appartment (space, large bed, terrace, refrigerator). -
