The owners, the service (they went out of their way to serve us), very professional, a couple of restaurants within walking distance that have phenomenal food and were recommonded by the owners. We liked everythng about this place and highly recommend it. - If you are traveling to Split, stay here. The staff knows English and does everything to make you comfortable. The room was immaculate and there was plenty of space for two or three people. It is an easy 10 minute walk to old town. Good breakfast and safe location. I'll stay here again.

  The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. Central Split can be a raucous party scene, but Royal Suites is dead quiet, despite its proximity. The staff is also absolutely fantastic. Someone also waited up for our arrival at 11 PM on a Sunday night. The - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.

To mention the care with which cuddle guests: at the requ - having had great difficulty finding a hotel in the centre to save on taxis and on wasting time we plumped for the authentics 'sister' rooms Palace Spa and although seemingly expensive so is the whole of Split . The room however was fantastic and yes it was in a bit of a grotty building however, if you are short on time , want a lovely room with all mod cons, an extremely helpful host, in the centre of Split then go for it.
