  We had a great host with excellent English and were given a complimentary drink on arrival. He gave us recommendations of where to eat out and shared the homemade brandy too! Room was very clean and nicely furnished in a beautiful setting. Would definitely return ourselves if we visit plitvice again and would highly recommend to others. Note- I believe this is the newer/smaller version of the Pansion house that the original owners father built and runs. It is a little farther outside of the park (3k?) but made no difference with a car. The proprietor was very attentive and the rooms were well kept and clean. Added bonus: the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

  Words can hardly describe how excellent our stay was at House Izvor. Situated in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by green fields and mountains this accommodation is a pearl for the traveller. Tom gave us a warm welcome and is also a - The house is located a short distance off the main road so that it is totally quiet in a beautiful and relaxing countryside surrounding. The host is really very nice and very helpful in all possible respects. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was wonderful. We even could borrow four bikes and make a half-day tour (to the Plitvice lakes) from there -- that was perfect, too!
