Garden Inn is one of the earliest hostels located in the old town of Lijiang, a 10-minute stroll from the lively Sifang Street. Traditional Chinese architecture, rustic wood furnishings and the beautiful garden add to the charm and tranquility of this hotel. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire property. Garden Inn is a 15-minute walk from Heilongtan Park and a 15-minute drive from Lijiang Bus Station. It takes 40 minutes by car from the hotel to Lijiang Sanyi International Airport. Offering views of Lijiang Old Town, all rooms come with abundant natural light, wooden floorings and a cable TV. Guests get to choose between staying in lively shared rooms, or in a quite private room. Hairdryers are provided upon request. Guests can play billiards, read books, rent a bicycle to explore the historic town, or use the computers in the lobby for free. The tour desk helps guests organise excursions to tourist attractions. Free luggage storage is also provided at front desk. Guests can enjoy simple Chinese meals at the hotel’s on-site restaurant. I did meet many interesting people. Talk to them was so much fun. The ambiance in lobby was very comfortable. the location was quit good. It was on the main street of old city, near to the center but far away from the noisy part. It was joyful to walk down the street in the morning from Garden Inn. It is really a good choice. The receptionist is really nice and very helpful. He always has good advices in english ! The room is nicely furnished and the location is great, a little bit outside the animation to get a quiet place with a lovely courtyard, but still in the old city to be easily anywhere quickly. I also recommend the breakfast here !.
wszystkie opinie » The staff was very friendly and helped on booking tours to Tiger Leap Gorge and Thousand Tortoise Mountain in Laojunshan National Park. The hotel is located in the Lijiang Old Town, very close to all interesting places. staff was very kind, George is an amazing helpful guy, had some interesting conversations with him, ready to help always, room was wonderful compared to price, location is just perfect, quiet place. Located in Lijiang Ancient City and a short distance from bus stop. Very helpful and friendly staffs. Able to provide travel info to Tiger Leaping Gorge and Jade Snow Mountain. Lovely hostel in the old town of Lijiang, staff could not have been more helpful. The room was very spacious and clean, decent shower, communal areas very attractive. The staff speaks good english and is ready to help to go on the trip from Lijiang (bus schedule, Tiger Leaping Gorge...). Rooms are a bit old but well maintained and clean, great staff and services. Nice lobby for the tourists chatting, gaming and relaxing. Nice courtyard to sit and relax. The only good was the breakfast!. They speak good english. there was one day that electricity and hot water were cut. nothing. Do not clean room daily. We stayed here 2 nights and our rooms weren't cleaned after the first night. Since in China, we have to throw used toilet paper in the dustbin, we were uncomfortable staying in an ensuite room with 2 days of accumulated used toilet paper in the toilet dustbin. And yes, we did big business during our stay there!. A little hard to get a cab to take you there. Make sure you know where you are going as you may have to walk a short way. Double room is quite small and has no good ventilatior nor a.c. Could be cold and noisy. Nothing. Very noisy from other guests talking in the midnight, can't sleep. Cleanning the room. Some problems with the shower head and you have to hold it by your hand:( Hope it will be fixed soon.BTW, you have to walk 10mins to the entrance of the old city. Quite a long walk to main part of Lijiang old town. We had booked a room with a city view and got a terrible room on the ground floor! It was dark, cold and moist. The staff uninterested to help us. We had booked the room one month before and for a whole week so we were upset. You book a room that is supposed to be good even mentioned in lonely planet but those rooms are never available or they are more expensive than the ones in letsbookhotel.com Hard to get the location. The door closes at 12 so if you want to go to a bar it is hard to go back at late night.

The property will contact guests directly with payment instructions via bank transfer. Airport pick-up costs CNY 100 per one mini-van (6-seat) during 7:00 to 23:00, and CNY 120 per one mini-van (6-seat) during the rest of day. Railway station pick-up service costs CNY 60 per one mini-van (6-seat). Please inform the property your flight/train number, arrival date and full name in advance if you need the pick-up service.
