  I liked the friendly greeting I recieved from the staff on arrival.Rhonda in housekeeping took special care that my room was well provided. Satish, the manager was on top of everything and even drove me into town on a particularly rainy day. The continental breakfast is more than ample and the breakfast room is very pleasant. I used the Barbecue area on the Sunday that I was ther - Right from the start we were treated so well by the Manager. He graciously came and picked us up from town since we had flown into Ganges by seaplane. We were able to walk into and back from town several times. Later he drove us to pick up our adult daughter who was joining us. He was gracious and helpful and went the extra mile twice! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed the location with the view of the ocean and the woods.

  The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. - We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly.   I loved everything about Sooke Harbour House. unique experience. Each room originally decorated. Otters playing in water outside my room.Jakusi, terrace and garden outside room. Wonderful tour of edible flowers and herb garden by the head gardener was superb and a real treat. Staff absolutely superb. Romantic and interesting design - my wife was really impressed by the bath tube in the living room. There is no a TV set in room which is good for us.   The desk clerk was great. She did her best to make us comfortable and was very pleasant when presented with a problem with our room. The Inn is on the water and it was beautiful and quiet.
