claire, the owner phoned us within 5 minutes of checking in, to see if there was anything we needed and if the room was to our satisfaction. she is very passionate about qualicum. the room was perfect. the location, couldn't have been better. past the rose garden, through the gate and to the beach!!!

Country View Motor Inn was a pleasant surprise. We needed a place to stay on our way to Vancouver and this was convenient, comfortable and the staff were great! We used the pool and hot tub, went for a relaxing walk and went to a nearby pub for supper. -

The lodge is warm and inviting. We had two wonderful and well presented meals in the picturesque dining room. All the staff were just genuinely warm and friendly to us. It fitted in with our journey back to mainland vancouver as a one night stop over. The accommodation was luxurious, sumptuous and warm. The bed was particularly comfortable and resulted in a wonderful night's sleep! Breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, the best we have had at a B&B.Our hosts Shirly and Steve were so friendly and welcoming, and could not do enough. They rose at an ungodly hour to give us breakfast before a really early departure! We look forward to our next stay and would recommend Quail's Quest to everyone!
