Hospitality of staff, great breakfast, design of building was very warm and nice, close to nature, away from highway, attention to all details for a great holiday. -

Everything was absolutely amazing. We found it very quaint and homey and extremely quiet. The breakfast was absolutely to die for, it was so delicious!!! I would recommend it to everyone and we are already planning on when we want to come back. Thank you so much for a wonderful get away

We were able to bring our puppy along, and it was very convenient having an outside entrance/exit from the room on the first floor, loved it! The kids loved the pool/waterslide and the waffles/bacon for brekky in the morning. -

The room was spotless, and the decor was modern. The hotel was literally the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. So close to the downtown but no downtown noise and no noise from the other guests - a complete luxury. I was so impressed I asked at the front desk and was told the rooms are double insulated so sound does not carry. -

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Mettera, which is also on Whyte and owned by the same company. We decided to give the Varscona a try and it was great. I enjoyed their wine and cheese hour that they had for hotel guest and the continental breakfast the next morning was really good. It kind of reminded me of my stay in Sonoma and Napa Valley. Five of us stayed in a two-bedroomed suite, overnighting between landing at the airport and picking up a motorhome. This was the best hotel experience of our Canadian holiday; not the swankiest, not the best located, not the most elegant, but by far the most hospitable. Early check-in? No problem.
