We loved staying at the Lady MacDonald! I travel every week and this was a refreshing break from a hotel room. It was cozy, inviting and felt like home. The breakfasts were amazing and the baked goods provided during the evening were fabulous. Sitting in the common room with a good book, a cup of herbal tea and a piece of cake or cookie was everything a hotel room is not. Thanks Peter and Tammy for a great stay!

The lake view is gorgeous. If you've already plan to spend big money to stay in this hotel, I suggest you spend extra 100 to get a room with lake view. It's totally worth it.
And you will have free wi-fi access if you register as a fairmont member. Just fill out an application form in the front desk. simple and easy.

Hotel staff were extremely accommodating. When we arrived our letsbookhotel.com reservation was not in their system, but they quickly made up for that. Bed was comfy, attached restaurant was convenient, and underground parking was really appreciated as it was very cold!! -

The staff were very friendly and went beyond the service they needed to provide us with to make our stay very special. The two dinners we ate in the hotel restaurants were excellent. We had a great view of the mountains in Banff from our room. The hotel is up out of the townsite, so you feel like you are in nature. The room itself was modern and roomy. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It was quiet and peaceful, which is what we wanted on this trip. -
