Hotel is small, more a B&B. Charming old house dating back to 1800's. Filled with Victoriana. Room was quite small with small bathroom, t.v., etc. But furnishings really interesting. Everything spotlessly clean and room comfortable. Very good and ample continental breakfast. Location very good for Dufferin Terrace, rue St. Louis and shops, restaurants, etc. They recommended Cafe de la Paix, 5 minutes' walk, very good.
Language no problem. Parking is offsite, 2-minute walk away.

The place is newly renovated and tastefully done in a modern eclectic style in an older home. It has deck surrounding the house and a great view of the river and Quebec City. Our host was very cool, rooms attractive, bathroom was great, loved the shower! Very convenient location – we were travelling from New Brunswick back to Ottawa so it was at perfect distance for us. Plus we were able to go to Quebec city (just a 10 mins by ferry) without worrying about parking and such. Our room had a wonderful view – we were lucky to be there during the Fireworks Festival and the did not really had to go outs

Their signature top-notch breakfasts were healthy, tasty, varied, most ample, and beautifully presented. The linens in the bedroom, bathroom and at the table are highest quality.
