  First time I had visited Ruse and and looked on it as an ideal stopping off point between Sofia and Bucharest. Glad I made the choice to stop off in the city and stay in the Vega. Lovely little city and lovely hotel ideally situated on the city square which was surrounded by lovely historical buildings, bars and restaurants. The hotel is 5 minutes... co mówią ludzie » walk from the Danube waterfront. The staff were very helpful and informative. The room allocated was modern and well decorated. I regret only staying - Everything about this place said class; from the umbrellas at the entrance to the individually wrapped truffles on the pillows. The décor was fresh and tasteful, the showers amazing and the beds very comfortable. The location for a city break in Ruse is superb with the main square steps away.
