Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. If you are coming to Ilha do Mel for a relaxing and restful stay this is not the place to go. The Pousada rents out a bbq grilling area that is right between all the rooms, in the middle of the complex. Other guests use it for parties until past midnight and there is no control over how loud it can get or until how late it can go to. .
