Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. A well-equipped hotel in good location (close to beach and to Metro). Spacious room with sleeping and living area separated by a sliding door. Very good (though somewhat noisy) air condition, kitchenette, balcony, ... all you need, and very clean and quiet (except a/c). Good breakfast. Friendly staff, but not all of them understand English.

shops, drugstores and stores. Pleasant helpful staff. Gym not tops if you are into that. Pool not exactly clean but that`s same most places in Rio. Room very comfortable and clean. Bedding not tops but it`s what you pay for. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.

I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk.

I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach,
could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The
reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff

It's a nice place with friendly staff. Good location - 7 min from Copacabana beach and 2-3 min from numerous cafes restaurants and shops. Kind of small but clean roof top pool with view on Christ Statue, by the way you can sit there and swim even after sunset- very romantic and relaxing.
