Staff is extremely helpful and lovely. The check-in time was 2pm, and I paid for the room with no view to the park. We arrived at 10am and due to low occupancy they let us check-in earlier with no extra cost and got us a room with a great view of the city overlooking the park. Paul was a delight. We felt very welcome. When asking for instructions, the receptionist (I did not get his name) acted like a real concierge showing us on the map what was interesting about Melbourne and how to get to it.
wszystkie opinie » Location, very well situated, right beside the free tram but they take so long to get into the central area, its quicker to walk and easy to do so from the hotel.Staff very efficient, and helpful at all times,giving directions etc.I requested a high floor away from street noise and was given floot 19 which was great ,marvelous views over Sydney.You could hear traffic noise if you listened but it didn't disturb us. Lovely modern room ,very well furnished,good kitchen facilities if you wanted to . New hotel in very convenient location for visiting Melbourne - near free City circle tram. We had booked a studio with a rear view, but changed to one on an upper floor at the front for an extra 10 AUD per night. It was well worth it for the wonderful view over Flagstaff Gardens and beyond. Staff very helpful and studio beautifully furnished and decorated. Probably the nicest hotel room we have stayed in. Very well appointed with oven, dishwasher, full fridge. Great view over the park. Staff very accommodating with a free upgrade. Great cafe downstairs with the best double expresso we've ever had and muffins to die for. Great value for money. Loved it. Staff were very helpful in particular the receptionists. Close the Queen Victoria Market. The room I stayed in was immaculate, and so spacious! The design was contemporary and had everything I needed.Hands down the best accomodation I have experienced. You could enter and leave the car park multiple times for the $20 fee. Room often over-heated (without the airconditioning on) Uncomfortable 'armchair'. Gym only opens at 6am!. The negative is it is compulsory to pay be credit card and they charge 1.5% credit card fee. We should be permitted to pay by eftpos or cash and avoid the fee. There's nothing I did not like!. Internet connection was slow ans costly. Not enough towel rails in bathroom. Insufficient shelf space in bathroom. I paid for a room with a view but my view was cut in half by the building (Room 1719). I presume I paid the same as for rooms with full 180 degree view which if this is the case, is not good. Loved it all, but a shower cap included with the toilettries would have been helpful!. Some towels were not as clean as I usually like. Price of internet. Studio apartments are quite small. We didnt have the best view, but we hardly spent very much time in the room so it wasnt a huge issue!. No free Wifi, which was not very convenient. Nothing we didn't like. Hardly anything. You could put salt and pepper in the room. There is no restaurant for dining in the evenings. There is a delivery service available through hotel but food wasn't great. There are no fresh food shops in the area which renders the kitchenette obsolete as you can't cook a decent meal without supplies. The door is self-closing which makes quite a noise which means you can hear everyone leaving in the morning, which means there is no sleeping in. Everything was great!. View from room . Would chose room with view over gdns next time. Not one complaint. Nothing!. nothing. After all of the effort put into the look and feel of the place.. the flashing stove and dishwasher lights, as well as the very responsive bedside phone/light.. light coming on when you got up in the night. Also the policy of taking out additional money is really irritating.. I left the hotel on Tuesday.. it is now one week later. I should not still have a hold on the additional $150 as bond. Need to check WiFi costs carefully before use. Some bathroom fittings looked a bit 'last minute'. I had requested a particular room that we had stayed in previously and there was no record of us doing so. It had only been early October this year. We requested the room as it was quiet. We were upgraded to a park view room which, was not as quiet. ceilings of room havent done. looks doesnt good. Expensive for a solo traveller and not even a bottle of water in the fridge :-(. Water pressure of shower should be improved.
