I still think accommodation in the ACT is ridiculously expensive and the Lodge was the cheapest I could find. The shared showers/toilet is a bit o a pain but everything was immaculate and I didn't have to wait to use any of the facilities. The staff was terrific and very accommodating. I certainly will stay again if I have to go back to Canberra and I will recommend to other people. NICE bed and bed linen.
wszystkie opinie » The staff were very friendly and helpful. All the facilities were very clean. The room was comfortable and being able to cook in the kitchen was very handy. The free breakfast is also very good. An excellent option if you're on a budget or an extended stay in Canberra. It's location close to Kingston shops is great. It's also easy to get into the city and a short walk to the lake. I have been staying here for some years because it is close to family. However, it seems to have been renovated since I was last there, and so I would definitely recommend it as good clean budget accommodation to friends who are visiting Canberra for the art exhibitions, etc. The bed was warm and comfy. The share bathroom was clean and close by our room. Very quiet location and convenient to the everything in the city. The breakfast included was terrific and really good value for money. Thank you so much. Location and cleanliness was good. The breakfast selection was top class. I must admit I would have like a TV in room but enjoyed my stay but if I was down for more than an overnight I would probably go next door. Pleasant breakfast room. Sharing bathroom but expected slight distance from cbd. my carrier is Optus, I had to look for the "right" spot to get messages to go.. Our room was overheated and it was not possible for us to adjust it. The shower cubicles lacked hooks and it was not possible to avoid splashing the shower room. Only one toilet per level a bit awkward at times.Rear parking tight, not obvious where to park. Nothing not to like. Would be nice to be able to have tea and coffee in the bedrooms. Possibility of slipping on the bathroom tiles - there was one anti-slip mat provided which was good but having just suffered a complete hamstring avulsion (on tiles) I am very aware of the danger. Nothing. - one shared bathroom (2 showers and 1 toilet) for the whole floor - very small room...1 bed, that's it. They said Double room, so I understood it as two rooms in a unit, it turned to be double bed. Very confusing and caused us lot of delay specially we arrived at 12 am. Also they said free internet access but it was not free. wifi fascilites not properly provided as advertised. Breafast of cereal & toast is not a continental breakfast. A vegemite stained knife sticking out of the tub of margarine - disgusting. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. Nowhere to place your things except floor where they get wet as water from shower goes all over floor. Not what I expected. IT Is more like A GUEST HOUSE. IF you are looking for basics this is for you. But not value for money.
