the proprietor was very helpful solving 2 issues First my Uruguay car permit and 2 my mud caked situation after getting the car stuck. This is the only hotel in the country with wheel chair accessible swimming pool. Nelidha is a leading exponent of disabled access and a disabled tourism expert and knowledgable on all travel. The cakes at breakfast were yummy especially the one with dulche de leche. the lanes round about were good to walk in with ots of birds.

They gave very good advice on local area tours. The room was clean and very functional and the view was spectacular. You really need to get a lake view room. Large room with lake view. Comprehensive breakfast in a large lake-view restaurant. Indoor swimming pool. Vast airy stylish public rooms. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Ample parking. Short walk into town. The views were spectacular. The staff were attentive. The room window was high tech & the wood type floors were nice. Internet was a big plus. Location, reataurant, room, view from our room, good brekfast. clean rooms, price, and location. This hotel has a nice lakeview. The employees are friendly. The hotel works with an tourism agency. They have a great pool, an awesome sauna and a small gym. Walk to the main street (Calle Mitre) by the lake coast turns into a nice activity and does not take more than 5 minutes. There was some barking from the Perros Brave guarding nearby properties. It's a little bit out of the main city area, but not too far. The walk is along side a busy road. Staff rather aloof. No personal touch. Double bed not particularly big. On the expensive side compared with similar lakeside hotels. When I first arrived no one offered to help me from the taxi to the front desk.It would've been nice to have a teapot in the room. It would've been nice if I spoke Spanish. There seemed to be only one staff member fluent in English. bar service was slow due to non-english speaking bar tender. The location of this hotel is a little bit far from downtown. The bathroom door had no handle, and remained without it until I left the hotel. The tub was broken. My room had no internet, maybe because it was the last room in the hall. I complained about it, but they couldn't fix it until I left.
