Perfect hotel. We will go there again if we visit El Calafate. The hotel owners were very friendly. The man drove us to and back the city centre for free (free hotel service!). The wife cooked for us whatever we wanted. And it tasted very good. Ask her lamb stew with patato's. Amazing view on the bay at night. We liked the hospitality of the owners, they are really doing their best for the guests. Myriam indeed cooks great, we stayed for the dinner at the hotel and had very good steaks. Location is remote, but the owner kindly suggests round trip to the city centre if needed.
wszystkie opinie » The couple who own this place are lovely, only the guy speaks a little English but they are both very friendly and accommodating. Free lifts to town are available any time you like. Food and drink very reasonably priced. I like the place in general it´s very comfortable, the hotel owners were very friendly, she cooked for us and the result was amazing, really delicious and Mateo is incredible!!!. We stay there two nights. We feel like home..We will book this hotel again for sure. We loved the place and the owners. It is very warm inside. Quite far from the downtown, but the view over the Lago Argentino is stunning. The owner speaks English and provides free transfers to/from downtown. Nice place, very friendly owners. Free taxi to town. location. The view was very good. We ate dinner there and it was tasty. The bathroom was quite new. nothing. Despite the quite place where the hotel is located, soundproofing of the rooms is very bad and we didn't sleep well at all, because you can hear snoring from the neighbouring room, chatting from downstairs, etc...and for us it was an issue. Further out of town than I realised. There is no sign/name board for the hotel or the street so the taxi driver had real trouble finding it! No menu in the hotel so you have to ask what is available and how much for everything. find the place the first time was difficult, perhaps requiring some signage. No sound proof walls. We heard everything from the hall downstairs. Very isolated location, almost impossible to find without Google map, as the hotel is not signposted. I told the manager to arrange a glacier trip two times. He said ok both times. When I woke up the next morning he told me that I didn't confirm the trip. I got really angry. This really spoiled my trip. I could only see Glacier Perito Moreno. I couldn't see the other glaciers. I payed more than 600 pesos to see just one glacier. The manager should have paid some of this money for compensation. that the staff had no time to serve coffee or offer the shuttle at the agreed time. There was no wifi at all!!! The place is very far from the center and is very isolated. The transportation to the center mentioned in the description is actually the owner of the place's car..so it's not so convinient.. The shower has low flow and unstable temperature of the water. The staff don't know english at all. We had to pay with cash-we paid in US dollars on a very low rate and without a reciept..we felt a bit cheated..
