  Not perfectly located, but Tidewater made up for that in the friendliness of the staff, value, facilities, cleanliness and comfort. And not forgetting the amazing on-site breakfast diner! The guy on reception was very helpful and gave hints and tips on local eateries and things to do.   The indoor pool was great for the kids especially since it was raining. Our room was clean and large enough for the 4 of us. - It was dirt cheap to stay at and if you only need a room, shower, and bathroom while you visit the cape this is the place.

  Actually, after all the "negatives" I had seen and read about "American Host Motel" (after I booked it), I was very pleased with everything about it. Yes - the hot tub wasn't working... Because they were in the process or replacing it with a new one.   The apartment was very clean, it was spacious, it had everything we needed and more. I loved that we had 2 full baths, that we got extra towels and extra pillows. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the private balcony. The maid service was excellent. It made for a very relaxing vacation. There is also a cute convience store and alcohol store less than a walk away. The owner is also great. He was able to give us directions to the best route up the cape.
