  Staff was very nice - unit was really clean and had all amenities. It was really a little apartment w/kitchen. Found it expensive as it wasn't really water view (far away from unit). - The marina was nice. The restaurant Alure was also nice.

  Shelter Island and the Pridwin were exactly what we expected and wanted for our first vacation in almost 7 years. The hotel is not what one would call luxurious or fancy, but the perfect picture of a quaint, comfortable vacation destination. The staff were really friendly and eager to help us find activities and features on the island that we woul... hva folk sier » d like. The hotel looked exactly like the pictures on their website. The complimentary breakfast buffet was ample and delicious. - I liked the location, the various pretty settings indoors and out with magnificent views of the water, great landscaping, spacious lawns, a secluded pool, and amenities such as bikes and canoes.
