  It is a lovely old hotel with wonderful antiques everywhere. The location is perfect for seeing the museums and walking downtown. The menu was limited but the dinners we had on the two evenings we ate there were excellent. Delicious apples on the concierge desk, too!   The staff was very accommodating. In particular there was some confusion regarding a breakfast coupon that went with the cost of the room. They gave us the coupon without any discussion. The shuttle was wonderful as were the drivers. The pool was warm and clean.   The staff was excellent. Very courteous and welcoming. We had originally booked for 1 night and decided to stay in the area for an extra night. They were able to cheerfully accommodate us for the extra night with no problem. The rooms are older, but are SUPER clean. The beds are comfortable and made with the nicest - Loved the sauna & will next time get a massage as well. I love the fact that there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage therapist, & sauna. Perfect for those stiff muscles from driving. The rooms are very clean, well decorated, & quiet. Both the female & male receptionists were considerate & prompt.

  We loved the mineral baths and massages at the Roosevelt Spa! The hotel is right in the middle of the state park with beautiful trails. We rented bikes from the hotel and had a great leisurely ride. Also utilized the hotel's free shuttle to downtown. All around a great stay! - The proximity to spac was fantastic.
