This is the place to stay if you are going to see a show at the Catalyst! Awesome location! We were able to check in and walk downtown. Staff was amazing and the bed was the best bed I've ever used in a hotel. If you are heading to Santa Cruz for a show, look no place else. I will definitely tell my friends to stay here. Also, the parking is easy and there is a great little coffee shop right next door.
alle vurderinger » The room was very clean, the receptionist super friendly when greeting us, the room was decorated very beautifully, we liked the thoughtful details and the art. For what it was, a little bit expensive but would go there again. The breakfasts, Alex, the cook, who has such a pleasing personality, the pleasant modern rooms that were so clean and comfortable, the gas fireplace heater. Also we heard no noise at night, so walls are well insulated. Excellent staff helpful and informative. Breakfast first time for 'pop up's' delicious and varied menu. Position for downtown and also cliff top bay walk, wharf and boardwalk. Comfy bed very quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is very good for walking to downtown shopping and beaches. No pool, so no associated noise! Quiet courtyard good for and evening glass of wine. Our room was very tastefully done, the bathroom was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in Santa Cruz. Beds were great, room was very clean, Front desk person was very imformative and took us to the rooms to show us tv controls ect. loved the modern decor of the rooms, very well done. Everything. When we left the room, the doors were locked immediately and we could not enter anymore, lucky us that we had all our bags with us otherwise we would have had to call someone. In the description it said that there were free bikes, these had been stolen, and it was a little bit lazy from the staff to say, oh you can rent them across the street. Shower water went all over the floor because the shower floor didn't slope down enough, it seemed, in room 301. The stairs need painting, but that is picky!. No aircon just a sweep fan but fine in late March. Nothing. Nothing, really. The walls and floors are thin. You can hear your neighbors, especially when you are trying to sleep. Hardwood floors in rooms make footfall noise from above even more disturbing. The room was very expensive. Location soon will be great. A little raw as far as the people that frequent that part of town. The neighborhood. Internet was tough to get in the room and TV station list was ok only. Get Direct TV. Not a lot. I didn't like that there was no microwave or refrigerator. Nothing. Nothing. WiFi was weak and the immediate area was slightly dodgy.
