  Lovely grounds, lushly planted, with well-maintained, uncrowded pool and plenty of chaises. Enjoyed hot tub, too. Good restaurant on premises so eating outside was enjoyable. Staff in hotel - We appreciated the reasonable rate for the value of the accommodations. The location is good. The restaurant had great food, atmosphere and service. The reservations clerks and front desk people were very friendly and helpful. All the employees we encountered were professional and friendly. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. It was nice to have free WiFi, although our room was apparently the farthest from the signal.   We have had an elongated stay of about 2 months. We have had a birds eye view of the staff and premise. The staff is efficient and warm but respectful. Even though we have been here a long time not one of them has displayed disrespect lack of caring about their job. They still call us MR and MRS. Room overlooked the pool and beach. beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. we were supposed to have a city view but don't think we would have liked those rooms so glad we were in the rooms we were in. The pool was heated which was great as we stayed there at the end of march as it got a little chilly at night but there was also a hot tub which was very relaxing. The hotel is within 2 blocks of several surrounding touristy sites; beach, city park, zoo, bike paths, a small grocery store and more. The hotel itself is roughly 24 rooms which is a welcome change to the super sized chain hotels.
