Terrie (the owner) is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area she provided us with lots of information about what to see and do - and there is quite a lot, stuff you don't read about in the regular travel books.

It´s perfect! Our suite was comfortable, clean and cozy. Staff was very
friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! (Fresh papaya with other
fruits and yoghurt, and freshly baked bread or muffins). Location is
absolutely wonderful, very tropical. Wifi worked great. Pahoa is a good
base to start many excursions, even though it´s on the rainy side of
the island.

Everything! Eric, the owner,gave us a tour so we would know where things were. We had a 2 bedroom suite with lanai and bathroom for $90. Unheard of value. Laundry was down the hall and free with detergent and softener provided. There is a well stocked kitchen for use by all guests. Very quiet and pleasant place.
