  We were just several blocks from downtown, on the city bus route. City bus fares are excellent in San Antonio for seniors. It was also just 4 blocks from the Amtack station. The neighborhood is on a fringe area but we (2 men) felt safe. Motel had been recently remodeled. - Compared to the $200/night hotels a mile away, this hotel is great value w... hva folk sier » ith free parking. The location is a bit remote but the desk arranges taxis that are only $5. to downtown. Very helpful and friendly staff. Bright, clean rooms with every comfort.

  Good Value. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and included eggs, bacon, juice and rolls, plus cold cereal. Free DVDs available in the office, but hard to see what is available because they are located well behind the counter. - I liked the location.
