  My stay was great. However, maybe they need to fix the door where it cant be open from the inside when the lock is on cause a 2 year old could easily slide out of the room :-( - Location convenient to the Galleria and I- 635 / us 75 convergence.   There was a wedding at the hotel but I didn't hear a thing! My floor was totally quiet which was important because I had to retire early to get a 5 AM flight. - As soon as desk figured out I was a Marriott member, I got a nicer room and much nicer care.

  Hotel staff were all fiendly and helpful. We cruised from Galveston on the 14th and returned on the 21st, the Hilton provided us with complimen tary parking for the cruise duratoin. An extra perk that many other hotels in Galveston do not offer or charge extra for utilizing the service. We didn't get into the swimming pool due to a cold front that... hva folk sier » hit on the 13th, however we would like to return and use the pool facilities and hotel in the future. - The staff was amazing. However we were very dissappointed with the lack of cleanliness within the pool area, especially the pool. We Understand its hard to keep clean later in the day, but my son & I were there every morning by 9:30am and the pool had straws floating , cherry stems, hair balls etc. For $300 a night, we were quite disqusted. Other than that, the hotel was fine. Again the entire staff was excellent.
