  I love this little Inn. It is by far the least expensive place to stay in Chelsea/Flatiron. It is not fancy by any means but it is quiet and the location is great. It's half a block off 5th ave shopping, two blocks from Union square and 2 blocks from 8th Ave in Chelsea. The rooms have a refrigerator which was rare to find for the price. Very comfortable and quiet and clean and you can get the sense of actually living there when you stay in this wonderful historic building. I will always book at the Chelsea Inn whenever I travel to NYC. The location is central to Union Square Station, and only one block over from 5th Avenue. From here, it's easy to get to anywhere in this beautiful City!

  The room was only 3 minutes from Q metro. 30 minutes to Manhattan. The neibourhood is calm and felt safe. Market, walgreens, dunkin donut, pizza and banks just around the corner. For the same price in Manhattan you got a dorm with shares bathroom. Room was extra clean. Micro, refrigerator and water boiler in the roon. Extra roon with sofa (If there were four of u - Good location - сlose to the underground station (less than 2 min walk), nice apartment, comfortable bed, clean and stylish bathroom. All in all definitely the perfect place to stay in New York for the money paid. Had the experience with many other hotels before in the city, none of those are even slightly comparable with the Brooklyn Midwood Suites (for the money paid). I will definitely stay here the next time I come to New York.
