  Frankly, when I first checked in, the room overlooked the parking lot. It was my 28 wedding anniversary trip and I felt I wanted a more "romantic" view. The young lady at the reception desk (Carolina) was not only understanding, she was fantastic! She upgraded us to a view of the mountain and the lake. It was breathtaking....like a picture from a ... hva folk sier » postcard and unquestionably very special for us. We had come to the Inn and Casino before. However, it was our first stay. The bed was the best hotel - Our experience at the Inn was exceptional. The setting in which the Inn is built and maintained is beautiful: the lake, the hills and trees, the walking trails brought a sense of contentment. The facilities are first-rate. The food is delicious and abundant--three buffets with amazing choices!?! We celebrated my Bride's birth- day on the 29th at Wendell's and found great service, delicious food, and a restful atmosphere. Betty has decided that the Inn is an annual destination to cel

  The pool was the best I have ever been in. Also our room brought us closer together. Something about the lodge gave us a peace we really needed. I will be back but this time I would like to upgrade our room. - grounds, quiet, accomodating staff, facilities
