The woman that checked us in was wonderful. The housekeeping staff was top notch. The free breakfast was quite nice.. they didn't cheap out on the selections. There was something for everyone. The view of the bay from the deck was spectacular. Free Wi-Fi!!.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, right next to Lake Michigan.
There is a lovely place to sit and watch the water and the wildlife.
Picnic area out back by the lake. Had great location.

The evening and overnight staff were not really unfriendly, but seemed disinterested in providing a quality experience. Requests for sundry items went unanswered and many times the front desk staff didn't answer phone calls. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. Very hard mattresses and the pillows were much too small for the size bed they were on.
The bed was very hard, & uncomfortable, especially for my wife.
logged on to motel WiFi and received a virus of some type into my email which froze my mail until returning home on Tuesday and working with a computer support tech for 1 hour and 20 minutes to remove the embedded virus.
I think the bedding could be updated was worn.
I wish that it had a hot breakfast along with fresh fruit.
