  We had just come from two "luxury" nights at the Woodstock Inn (a gift). Our room at the Toll Road was bigger, better furnished, more room amenities, fantastic view of woods, stream, and animals in pasture. Great basic breakfast (free), located near Manchester but not in the middle of it (quiet at night, no traffic/people noise). Grab a book o... hva folk sier » n a sunny afternoon and sit in the Adirondack chairs and read - you'll feel right at home. - We have a young, very active toddler. He spent the entire trip going to the river at the back of the hotel to the pool. It was delightful. The grounds are lovely. The place, although old, is exceptionally clean and cared for. It's close to town and if you don't want to go to town there are several restaurants within walking distance. I loved our stay and would go back in a second.
