  We loved our stay at the Channel Road Inn. It was a wonderful starting point for our walks to the Santa Monica Pier along the beach and back along Ocean Avenue. The restaurants nearby were very good and the staff at the inn were very helpful and pleasant. All in all, we would return again and again and tell our friends, too. - They staff was v... hva folk sier » ery pleasant and made you feel very welcomed and comfortable. It was a very relaxing environment and impeccably clean. The afternoon wine and cheese was very pleasant after driving all day and the breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed are stay very much.

  The rooms are charming, but the garden is an oasis amoung all the concrete and beach. So relaxing to sit outside and read, or just have a drink and chat. A huge plus is the while smoking is not permitted in the house, the outside is smoker friendly ... for those of us who still do smoke. It was a perfect vacation getaway. - Perfect location being 25 metres along a walkway to the sand and beautiful beach. Lovely garden for relaxing. Home baked afternoon tea each day. An oasis from the busyness if fun Venice beach. Found a superb italian restaurant. A walk sling the canal walk a must. Highly recommended.

  What is there not to like about this wonderful place. The staff are really welcoming giving a guided tour on arrival. The rooms are large with huge comfy beds and fluffy pillows. The Inn has a lovely seaside feel with the breakfast room and lounge decorated in fresh colours and lovely furnishings. But the big plus here is the hospitality. We arri... hva folk sier » ved very early in the morning and just expected to be able to leave our bags and then return later to check in, but no, we were given breakfast and to - This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed, it couldn't have been better! The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, the little touches were SO appreciated (cookies at the bedside, beautiful soap in the bathroom), the cheese and wine (daily at 5pm) was absolutely delicious, and breakfast was the best you could get anywhere - such a choice of food it took me 10 minutes to get started! I can't wait to go back, just to look at the beautiful beach scenes and little birds painted on
