We were there for a night after arriving on a long flight from Australia - I was sooo relieved when we got to the hotel at 9 am and they let us check in as we were completely exhausted!! - Hotel staff made us feel special. Pros
I was able to check in early. Jonah at the front desk was very helpful. The decor is fantastic. The old elevators are really cool. The bed was very comfortable and the air cond worked great. Close to many Hollywood spots and plenty of free parking. The hotel has the look as the type of place a 1920's gangster would stay in it's really cool.
Cons
A bit pricy 137.00 for the night.

Everything was perfect. Staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and very comforting. About 10 minute drive to Venice, Hollywood, Downtown, Etc. If your an NBA fan of the Los Angeles Clippers, their practice facility is across the street. Overall a very good destination for a get away. -

my husband had surgery at St. Johns HOspital and the location was perfect. Wish there was an outdoor type place to sit and read or hatever during nice weather...pool?
