  Outside construction noise worried me upon arrival, but we were given a room that faced the back courtyard and overall our stay was very quiet. The room itself was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. While smaller than usual hotel rooms, it provided us with enough space for a short weekend stay. The location is awesome, and not too busy. My room albeit so small, is comfy and clean, perfect for a solo female traveler. They even gave me free coffee and cookies on my last night. My check out was super smooth and quick. Will stay here again when i go to NY

  I was attending a conference at NYU. The hotel is right at the heart of NYU and so was a convenient location for me. The beautiful Washington Square Park is just steps away from the hotel. I like that the hotel is situated in a safer and quieter part of the city, yet within easy reach of the attractions in the city. I loved the location being at Washington Square. We walked to dinner each night at small ethnic restaurants. The free breakfast was a great addition- coffee was very good. Loved the look and style of the hotel. Staff was amazing and VERY accommodating.   This was my second stay at The Bowery and I still love it. You really feel like you are in NY not the tourist version of NY that you see on TV (if that makes sense). The location of the hotel is perfect for my needs. If shopping is your thing, then you are within walking distance of Soho. How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.
