Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport.

I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

The inn was quaint and historic ( no ghost though). The staff - Otilia
was on the entire weekend that we were there and she was amazing.
Always so helpful and always went out of her way to help us. Always had
a smile on her face no matter the time of day or night. And the
location was the best!! We could leave the car in the parking at the
Inn and walk everywhere. This was such a plus in a city where parking
was very limited.

The hotel is right in the center of everything there is to do. You can
walk everywhere except to the mansions and then the Visitors Center is
only a block away and you can get a bus to take you to the mansions. Our
car never left the parking lot. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is

Location was excellent. It was near the waterfront as well as shopping and restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave excellent directions to nearby sights. Parking, although extra, was conveniently located across the street; just a few steps from the inn. Breakfast, which was included, was "just right" and was located in a homey and warm living room like location.

The hotel was central to absolutely everything. Walked most of the time. Drove about 2 min to get to Mansions/Cliff Walk. Staff were friendly - allowed us to stay parked for a couple hours after we checked out so we could have lunch. Keurig in room is nice/generous but they need to give a couple more creamers! Gated/very safe parking. -

water view that was spectacular! The staff was great and helped decorate
the room with roses and champagne so that my boyfriend could propose
when we got back from the vineyards!

I thought the Inn had everything that we needed for our week end in Newport, RI. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. Plus, there was always a pot of fresh coffee. I would book this Inn again. Thanks to all the staff. -

Upon arrival the concierge paid attention to our personal trip plans and
upgraded our 2 queen room to a king room with full 2 person jacuzzi for
the same price - it totally changed the whole trip for us - we hardly
ever left the room!! We were within 2 minutes walking distance to some

That a ironing board and iron were avaliable as well as a hair dryer, didn't use but it was available, great. Quiet, view of beach. Coffee 24 hrs.in lobby.
Breadfast servered at 7am. Plenty of food to choose from. Had a great visit. Everyone very friendly, and the pool was a great asset after spending a few hours on the beach. Awesome!!
