  I was really surprised that this is a 3* hotel, in my opinion it's definitely worth more than that. Great location, near a choice of bars & restaurants on DuPont Circle. Every member of staff we met was so friendly & went out of their way to make us feel welcome & an extra fuss was made of the fact we were on honeymoon. A superb find & great value for money. - The room was wonderful with a big bed and flat screen tv. I especially like the nespresso machine! And the refrigerator! The bathroom was also very nice, clean design (although not a lot of space to put stuff) I liked the automatic floor lights! Plus nice smelling shampoo, lotion and conditioner from Occitane. Staff was really friendly and answered all questions. Breakfast was not included but the little patio and terrace looked lovely! Price was also ok.

  As a mom traveling with 2 children, we REALLY enjoyed our stay at The Baron Hotel. Dwight, the front desk wizard, was friendly, helpful, and so great with the kids. The location is in a very safe area which is easily accessible from public transit. It is an older hotel, but this added to its charm rather than detract from it.   Great place to stay if you know what you are going for. It does not have a front desk. It's all through a password you'll get in the e-mail. It's actually a house in those english styles neighborhoods. Everything inside was clean and nice. The room had a private bathroom which is great. The internet was also very fast. I totally recomend the place... hva folk sier » , specially because you can park for free in the streets in the neighborhood. The metro is nearby and there are plenty of good restaurants around. The - As long as you understand that this is a "guest house," not a hotel, not a b & b, and you understand that it is converted old home, you should have a wonderful time. Don't expect the staffing of a hotel. I chose it for the convenience to the Medstar Hospital complex and it was very easy to travel there. I loved the availability of shared kitchen and living spaces. The owner was very friendly, helpful and concerned that my stay was a success.

  The hotel was under renovation at the time of my visit so they upgraded my room without my even asking for anything. The room was fantastic and spacious. The gym was also closed, but the staff had already made arrangements with a local fitness club to accommodate us free of charge. The room was twice the price, decrepit, ridiculously small and more removed from all the - It would be tuff to say something against, the entire room was renovate, furniture, bed, flooring, appliance etc. The hotel is on his way to be completely renovated. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to restaurants, museums, art galleries and trolley etc. We've biked from the hotel to the Capitol and the Potomac river is beautiful.
