  The neighborhood is very interesting with lots of good restaurants serving nice meals at interesting prices (Stella Maris, Il brigante, MarkJoseph steakhouse, Suteishi,...). During our stay we had a quiet room on the 5th floor. The staff was always friendly and willing to help.   Great hotel and good value for money. We stayed with 4 people in a room and it was good sized. The room was very clean and the location is quite good. We had a car and therefore could easily reach all tourist locations without any problems. It was very safe and clean and parking was readily available - a HUGE plus in Manhattan!

  The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great nights sleep, bed was so comfy and big plus we had a great view from the 22nd floor. It is in a great location, just walking distance to wall street station and if you turn left and cross over when leaving you end up down a beautiful little cobbled street with an outdoor cinema and restauran... hva folk sier » t near the dock. - We came to New York overnight by bus, and arrived at 8am. It was cold so we went to the hotel to see if we could get an early check-in and warm up. The staff was absolutely amazing and did everything they could for us--including finding a room at that early hour. The room was clean and very comfortable.

  This hotel is in Chinatown and located only a few doors down from directly under the Manhattan bridge. Sounds terrible but it's not. We were on a budget and this hotel was perfect. It makes a huge difference being on Manhattan, so as long as you can stand the Asian smells on the sidewalk, everything from here is as accessible as anywhere else on m... hva folk sier » anhattan. The metro is a 5 min walk away taking you to time square within 20mins or less. The room was large, clean and recently refurbished. The beds - I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking.

  Perfect place to visit nyc and sleep after an exhausting day. The room was small and the mattress quite hard but we slept like babies. It was cleaned and the towels in the ensuite bathroom changed everyday. Staff couldn't be more helpful and nice. For the excellent price we also got breakfast consisting of coffee/tea and a lovely croissant/omelett... hva folk sier » e, ham and cheese sandwich. - Besides the extremely helpful staff, I loved the wallpaper in the halls. I also loved the view and being in the "thick of things" - close to subway, easy walks to Little Italy, the Bowery, Financial districts. I also liked being able to practice Mandarin chinese!   This was my second stay at this hotel in two weeks. In addition to what I've said in my first review - I would like to highlight how helpful and professional the staff are. It also didn't hurt that I was upgraded to a king suite on this stay. - The rooms are very modern, beautiful and trendy and the hotel staff is excellent!   The location and the view! We stayed on the 11th floor with easy access to the roof. Absolutely amazing! Yes the room is small but its New York! And at this price point are you expecting a lavish Central park villa? Lol. They was all very friendly and helpful booking car for trip back to penn station giving directions.. Love the place decorations was so nice rooms comfortable and clean..
