  A bit out of the town itself, but if like us, you're planning on touring Philadelphia on foot, it is not an issue at all. A 30 minute walk from, Philly, 15 mn from the museum and 30th St train station, it is nestled in University town, in a lovely and quiet area of old houses. There are plenty of restaurants and a couple of convenience stores with... hva folk sier » in walking distance too. The room we spent the night in looked EXACTLY like its picture on the website. We found it beautiful. Now for what you can't - The home is a beautiful mid-19th century Victorian with gingerbreading, dark woods, and stained glass. The atmosphere is warm, comfy, and clean. The house is an easy walk from the 30th street station and just over the bridge from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Rodin and Barnes Collections.   Design was fresh and contemporary. Location was fantastic -facing Reading Terminal Market (where they have the best donuts in the world ~ Beiler's) and across Philadelphia Convention Center. Across the street is also a stop for several double-decker sight-seeing buses. Room has complete amenities for staying in (if you wish). - My stay at hotel is awesome really everything was perfect starting from location next to Marriott hotel ,in front of terminal.market at market street it is new hotel so you can feel it everywhere starting from floor to everything around you the staff are so cute ,helpful and everything was perfect really I recommend this hotel specially for family as each room has ref,toaster ,dishwasher ,utilities almost full kitchen

  The staff was fantastic in making sure I had proper directions and that I could go straight to my room when arriving at 3am. Bree also worked hard with reps from letsbookhotel.com to find the best room for my family and I when I requested changes to my original reservation. The proximity to mass transit is/was great. Whether traveling with a family or not, I would first look to stay at The Conwell Inn if I'm ever in the Philly area again. - They are pet friendly. Even after their pet and parking fees it was cheaper than hotels of similar quality. North Philadelphia feels like home for someone from Baltimore. The Temple campus is nice, especially the old buildings on Broad Street. We were in town on Thanksgiving weekend so the students were not there, and it was quiet.
