  my name is christine i came from montreal to lake georges i saw roadway inn in the internet ..we went and we stayed one day in a few words i liked it vey much and the woman there wae so lovely ...i told 10 families about you and they will reserve with u ..thnx - I was very surprised by this motel.   Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Attendant was waiting for us to arrive and check took under one minute and we were on our way to our rooms. The location is perfect , mcDonalds was next door and open early for breakfast and coffee. Other resturant next door was not yet open for the season but this too has breakfast. Hotel - The Motel 6 Lake George is right in the center of town and you can easily walk to anywhere in the village. We never had to worry about parking. The facilities were clean, simple, and had everything we needed. It is also pet friendly so it was perfect for our small dog. It's was not the cheapest hotel in town, but definitely wasn't the most expensive and was definitely worth the little bit more that you pay.   So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. Loved the area for kids near the pool, and the spacious grounds. Lots of little nooks around the hotel for quiet conversations. Loved the fire "pit" outside ... hva folk sier » main entrance. Indoor pool was beautiful, although so many kids there I changed my mind about going in. A disappointment. - The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

  We love Lake George and especially the Fort Wiliam Henry Resort...stayed with our kids 25+years ago several times and then again this summer with my brother and his wife...they loved it. We enjoyed the pool and the spa. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. The breakfast was very good.
